Christmas Morning by Nina Siniakova

Christmas Morning by Nina Siniakova

Cunningham Piano’s very own composer-in-residence Nina Siniakova has composed a special piece capturing the magic of Christmas Morning. Featuring violinist Taisiya Losmakova and Nina on piano, this performance was recorded on a magnificent Yamaha C7X 7’6″ Grand Piano at Cunningham Piano’s King of Prussia showroom. We invite you to enjoy this celebration of the Christmas spirit as our musical “thank you” for your patronage and friendship!

Nina’s notes: “Christmas Morning” was written upon a request coming from my dear friends, Italian-Belarusian violinist Tatiana Reout. Tatiana was looking for a piece to perform in her recital in Milan, Italy.
When composing, I was trying to describe all the child’s emotions happening on a Christmas morning. Excitement, love, the feel of a cozy house, fascination with the lights and garlands – just like I remember it from my own childhood.
