In this video, we take a look at a beautiful Petrof 125G upright piano with a glossy mahogany finish. Petrof pianos have been made by five generations of the Petrof family in the Czech Republic since 1864. In addition to the lovely cabinetry, this particular instrument has some wonderful high-end features, including a slow-fall keyboard cover, and agraffes for every string, helping the piano to have a more beautiful tone. Most upright pianos, by the way, have agraffes only for the lower strings and a pressure bar for the middle and upper ranges. Enjoy this video, and feel free to post comments or questions below!
