In this series of tutorials, we will be learning songs from Hal Leonard’s series of “Best Songs Ever” big note piano books (7th edition), and exploring how the Yamaha CVP-809 Clavinova can make even beginner piano players sound like a whole band. Part piano lesson, part instrument tutorial, we will “learn by doing”.
In this episode, we will learn how to play “Let It Be” by The Beatles. In addition to using the Style Search function, we can customize the speed of the style using the “Tap Tempo” button – this is great for when you are just starting to learn a song and need to gradually build up playing speed. We will also expand what we learned about using Registration Memory buttons to not only save layered sound settings, but Style Variations as well.
