Yamaha CVP-809 Clavinova Tutorial #6: Yesterday

Yamaha CVP-809 Clavinova Tutorial #6: Yesterday

In this series of tutorials, we will be learning songs from Hal Leonard’s series of “Best Songs Ever” big note piano books (7th edition), and exploring how the Yamaha CVP-809 Clavinova can make even beginner piano players sound like a whole band. Part piano lesson, part instrument tutorial, we will “learn by doing”.

In this tutorial, we will learn how to play “Yesterday” by The Beatles. As our Registration Memory settings become more complex, we explore how to use the Registration Sequence settings to use the middle piano pedal to advance through registrations, allowing our hands to stay on the piano keys for a more fluid piano performance.
