An Evening in Vienna at Cairn University

On February 15, 2019, Cairn University collaborated with Bösendorfer, Yamaha, Cunningham Piano, and the American Liszt Society to host An Evening in Vienna. The recital featured faculty and student pianists performing on two magnificent pianos from Bösendorfer, the 280 VC 9′ concert grand, and the 214 VC 7′ grand piano. The first video features Cairn University faculty pianist Kenneth Borrmann performing Orage from Années de pèlerinage Suisse, S. 160 by Franz Liszt on the Bösendorfer 280 VC.

The second video features Cairn University faculty members Dr. David Shockey, Tenor, and Eleanor Shockey, Piano, performing Trockne Blumen from Die schöne Müllerin by Franz Schubert on the Bösendorfer 214 VC.
