A Celebration!
Saint Jude's Catholic Church and Shrine in Chalfont, PA truly desired a fine pipe organ. The pastor, Fr. Anthony Acosta, and the music director, Madeleine Iaquinto, understood that well designed pipe organs have been the standard for worship for centuries. They enhance worship, inspires congregations, and sound like nothing else in the world.
But a well designed pipe organ needs thousands of pipes and the cost of a new pipe organ can easily exceed a million dollars. This was not something that the parish could really consider.
After much research, consulting with experts, and exploring what is available, Saint Jude's made the best choice.
They chose a custom made and custom designed three manual organ, the GX-350a by The Allen Organ Company.
This instrument allows the organist to use digitally reproduced sounds from the world's finest pipe organs, uses fantastic audio reproduction, and puts that tone into the St. Jude's sanctuary like no other company in the world.

This exciting event marks a significant milestone for the church community and will allow for richer musical expressions during services and special events.
Rudy Lucente is a concert artist and church musician who has been serving congregations and entertaining audiences nationally and internationally for decades.
Currently in his 48th year at the console, Rudy has the distinction of being the longest continually serving assistant grand court organist for the Wanamaker Organ in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. An internationally known recitalist he is known for his “family friendly” presentations and dedication programs. Rudy is a highly respected consultant to many church musicians and participates as a custom organ designer for the Allen Organ Company.
Madeleine Parkes Iaquinto is the Director of Music at St. Jude Church and Shrine in Bucks County, PA. A versatile choral conductor, organist, pianist, and soprano, Madeleine has spent over 15 years as a liturgical musician in the Greater Philadelphia Area and is passionate about providing beautiful music for the Catholic Liturgy. Formerly a high school choral director, she is a passionate educator and dedicated to unlocking the musical potential in singers and keyboardists of all ages. Madeleine holds music degrees from both Michigan State University and Ithaca College.
