Responsible rebuilding is done by carefully and thoughtfully choosing replacement materials of a specific design. The chosen design can match the original manufacturers specifications, but can sometimes be different in an attempt to improve the final result above and beyond the originally manufactured piano.

Although a proper restoration of a piano can be expensive, many times a very high quality rebuilt piano can approach or surpass the quality of the same brand and model in a new instrument, while saving many thousands of dollars over the purchase price of the same new piano. This is one compelling reason to consider purchasing a rebuilt piano.
