The Rittenhouse Square Committee chooses our own Rich Galassini as a Celebrity Guest
The Rittenhouse Square Committee is part of the Volunteer Corps of The Philadelphia Orchestra, which were formed in 1904, four years after the Orchestra's first concerts. The Women's Committee, as it was originally called, was the first permanent organization of its kind in the U.S., and has since come to serve as a model for similar groups around the country.
We were honored that, along with Davyd Booth, violinist for the orchestra, our own
Rich Galassini was chosen as a celebrity guest to give a talk on our company, our work, and how we support the Arts in The Philadelphia area at the season's first Lecture/Luncheon. These events are held six times each year and all proceeds go to support The Philadelphia Orchestra.
