Yamaha CVP-809 Clavinova Tutorial #8: Can't Help Falling In Love

In this series of tutorials, we will be learning songs from Hal Leonard's series of "Best Songs Ever" big note piano books (7th edition), and exploring how the Yamaha CVP-809 Clavinova can make even beginner piano players sound like a whole band. Part piano lesson, part instrument tutorial, we will "learn by doing".

In this tutorial, we will work on "Can't Help Falling in Love" by George David Weiss, Hugo Peretti and Luigi Creatore. The CVP-809 has a powerful feature called "Chord Looper" which allows you to record chord sequences in a song. For the beginner, this can be a great way to learn to play a song one hand at a time. For the advanced player, Chord Looper can free your left hand to play more freely without having to think about triggering chords for the style accompaniments. Combined with the registration memory, entire songs and accompaniment variations can be easily mapped out.
