Bio: Joy Slavens has been teaching piano for 30 years and is a member of National Guild of Piano Teachers. Joy has kept over 35 students for much of the 30 years. She is an accomplished pianist, harpist, church musician, music director of a local church, a harp ensemble instructor, and composes much of her music. Students learn technique, theory, improvisation, notereading,and playing original literature as well as pieces the students choose to do. Joy teaches students from the age of 5 to any age!
