We'd rather you play it than pack it.
We're moving to a new showroom, and every instrument we sell now is one we don't have to crate and truck. So the whole Allendale Road floor is discounted through August 31 — grands, uprights, hybrids, digitals, and restored instruments rebuilt by hand in our own factory.
18 months, 0% APR financing available. Get pre-approved before you visit →
Why the prices are what they are
We're not closing. We're building something bigger.
A few miles away, in another part of King of Prussia, we're bringing everything into one building.
- The restoration factory
- The warehouse
- A new showroom
- A recital hall
- A music school
The showroom is the last piece to move — and we'd rather it move light.
It costs us less to sell it to you than to move it. That's the whole sale.
So the discounts are real, they're on instruments sitting on Allendale Road right now, and there's no restock behind them.
The part nobody puts in the ad
What actually changes when there's a piano in the house
It isn't really about the instrument. It's about what starts happening around it.
Nobody walks past it
Guests sit down. Kids sit down. People who swear they can't play sit down and pick out something with one finger. It's the only object in a living room that asks you to do something instead of watch something.
The instrument keeps up with them
A weighted action and a working pedal mean a student can play whatever their teacher assigns — this month and five years from now. Nothing about the piano puts a ceiling on how far they go.
It only gets better as it's played
No charging, no updates, no next version. The tone opens up as the hammers settle in, and an instrument that's played regularly and kept in tune keeps rewarding whoever sits down at it.

Before you ask
The questions we get every day.
Do you deliver, and what does it cost?
Yes — white-glove delivery anywhere in the Delaware Valley. Digital pianos $295, uprights $395, grands $495, including the first six steps; there's a per-step charge beyond that. Our crews do this every day, including stairs, tight turns, and doorways that look impossible. Call 215-991-0850 or email piano@cunninghampiano.com and we'll price your delivery exactly before you buy anything.
What does it cost to keep a piano tuned?
Two tunings a year is the standard recommendation, at $180 a visit. Beyond that a piano just wants stable humidity — away from radiators and drafty windows. That's the entire maintenance list.
Can I trade in the piano I already have?
Often, yes. Send photos and the serial number stamped on the cast-iron plate and we'll tell you honestly what it's worth — including when the honest answer is "not much."
Is financing available, and can I get pre-approved?
Yes to both — 18 months at 0% APR, and you can apply for pre-approval online before you come in. It's worth doing. Knowing your number ahead of time means you can spend the afternoon deciding which piano you love instead of wondering what's within reach, and there's no obligation to buy anything. Apply for pre-approval, or call 215-991-0850 and we'll walk you through it.
Are the sale prices really lower?
Yes. We're moving a building's worth of inventory on a deadline, and transporting an instrument is real money we'd rather not spend. Compare us against anything.
What happens after August 31?
We're targeting October 1 to open at 450 S Henderson Rd, King of Prussia — factory, warehouse, showroom, recital hall, and music school in one building. Anything unsold moves with us, at regular prices.
Will there be lessons and concerts at the new location?
Both. The new building includes a recital hall and a music school, and we're planning a First Fridays concert series — a featured performance on the first Friday of every month. Tick the box on the form above and we'll let you know as dates are set.
Come play a few. That part's free.
There's no better way to choose a piano than sitting down at several of them in one afternoon — and right now there are more of them here, at better prices, than there will be again.
