Philadelphia Magazine (PhillyMag.com) is one of the most well known magazines in Tri-State area. They highlight everything Philly - what’s amazing, what’s not, and everything in-between. Each August, they publish an issue called “Best of Philly”. It’s been a tradition that Philadelphians have been enjoying since 1974! 2019 marks the fourth time that Cunningham Piano has been voted “Best of Philly”! This is an honor that is not to be taken lightly. Editors carefully analyze businesses throughout the year to pick the cream of the crop to make the coveted “Best of Philly” roster. What makes this award particularly sweet is the fact that only 4 times in the history of “Best of Philly” have pianos ever been included, and we won every time!

Cunningham Piano has been a staple in Philadelphia since 1891. After World War II, we shifted our focus from building pianos to the business of Piano Restoration. Some have trained at the Steinway factory in New York, while others have spent time at the Bösendorfer Factory in Vienna. Cunningham Piano restores and repairs all types of pianos. Our Music School is staffed by the best musicians in the Philadelphia Area. We offer lessons for piano, voice, violin and cello. During the summer, most church and community choirs take a break. We regularly open our King of Prussia showroom for social events. We’ve had special concerts such as “An Evening in Vienna”. In addition, we regularly host studio recitals, and make our recital space available to local teachers completely gratis. Cunningham Piano is truly a gathering space for the community!
