Cunningham Pianos
On several occasions, we have had piano teachers and professional musicians visit our showroom, and after admiring the pianos on display, they would ask with concerned undertones, “How’s business? Are people actually buying pianos these days?” Potential recession jitters and the “retail apocalypse” afflicting shopping malls across the country seem to paint one of the bleakest pictures seen by Cunningham Piano since its opening in 1891. In light of this, we feel compelled to disclose the following information to our customers: last month, Cunningham Piano experienced its best sales month ever in its 128 year history. Best. Month. Ever. Since moving to King of Prussia 3 years ago, Cunningham Piano has been privileged to enjoy extraordinary growth. Much of that success is thanks to our extraordinary relationship with Yamaha and Bösendorfer as their exclusive representatives in this region. We’ve also brought two more wonderful sales representatives on board: Nina Siniakova, a European-trained classical/jazz pianist and composer, and Sean Burman, a locally renowned choral director and vocal teacher. But the most important factor by far has been thanks to you, our wonderful friends and customers. Thank you for sharing our love of the piano and recognizing the necessity of having art in the home and in society. From parents buying their first piano for their children, to retired professionals seeking a creative outlet for personal expression, schools and houses of worship committed to elevating the experiences of their constituents, music is one of those activities that uniquely define our humanity and expand our capacity for expressing and appreciating beauty, qualities needed more than ever in our challenging world. In a few weeks, we have some truly exciting news to share with you regarding our extraordinary growth, so we invite you to stay tuned! Once again, thank you for your love and support!
